The Early Registration in Pasay City North High School-M. Dela Cruz Campus kicked-off with a cheerful atmosphere on February 1, 2020 and will end on March 6, 2020. The month-long registration was spearheaded by School Principal, Nunilon L. Moreno, and his organized team with School Assistant Principal, Mr. Roger B. Escarilla,to lead the advocacy campaign from February 1 (Saturday) to March 6, 2020. He designated early registration desks in school to be manned by individuals tasked to handle the registration. Mrs. Maritess P. Legaspi, Guidance coordinator, Department heads,(Mrs. Elvindia P. Juanillo, Mrs. Vilma M. Revellion, Mrs. Almera L. Alkuino and Dr. Amor R. Coleta) Subject coordinators, Sped teacher Carolyn L. Barreto, Subject Group Head Ma. Barbara C. Feliciano, ALS Instructional Manager Edward Joshua L. Castro, Grade 7 and Grade 11 teachers were able to assist the Principal to lead the activities such as house- to-house campaign, dissemination of print materials, social media information campaign, and engagement with parents headed by PTA Vice President Dr. Dalde and other officers, barangay officials headed by Barangay Captain Owen Reyes , civic and people’s organizations and other stakeholders.
The organized team has been oriented to conduct early registration based from DO No. 3,s.2018, otherwise known as the “Basic Education Enrolment Policy,” aimed at consolidating the various issuances and enrollment, and institutionalizing a basic education enrolment process. They were oriented to identify and locate not only regular students but also students who may have special needs and conditions or circumstances during the school year. “We need to mobilize the team to register all qualified prospective enrollees to improve the enrolment this school year2020- 2021. Now that we have started to open Sports and Arts & Design tracks for Senior High School likewise the Special Programs in Junior High School , I’m sure our enrolment will increase.” Moreno said .
